When I came home last night and logged into Facebook, I noticed that the opinions on The Dark Knight Rises were rather polarizing. I saw everything from calling it “remarkable” to saying that it was a “90s cop drama with a Batman cameo.” Frankly, I was pretty surprised, but should I be? I mean, we now live in a world where if something doesn’t go the way you want it to, it’s bad. I don’t know what the deal is. I loved it.
My Friday list will consist of the movies that are nominated for Best Picture this year. I have finally watched them ALL and I have put them in order of which ones that I enjoyed the most. I can honestly say that there was not one movie on this list that I deplored. There were components of each movie that I didn’t like but I’ll probably mention them while I explain my list. Here we go….
So, everyone looks at the Oscar nominations and they try to predict what will happen or what they think should happen. I don’t know what will happen. I really think that it can go a lot of ways. There are some things I think should win though. I’m just gonna look at the major stuff that I care about. Take a look.
